We are truly an international learning environment providing education for 4-18 years old students – KG and Grades 0-12. The school curriculum is based on the Finnish National Core Curriculum, with the adaptations in the local Qatari context. The language of teaching for all grade levels is English.

We want our students to learn for life, not only to do well in tests. Continuous assessment is a collaborative process to enhance learning. Observing students’ daily work and using continuous formative assessment gives the teacher and the parents realistic and up-to-date information about students’ academic level and working skills.

We chose to send our kids to Q.F.I. School because we wanted them to experience world-class Finnish education here in Qatar. They’re now in their 7th academic year at the school. The Finnish curriculum is amazing, but it is the teachers who are the true heart of the school!

After researching schools in Qatar, we chose Q.F.I. School because we felt the Finnish approach to education would suit in our children needs. The school was very welcoming and through Zoom meeting we learned more about the curriculum and day to day life at the school. Teaching is very child focused and our children are extremely happy since joining in August 2021.
