Curriculum

At the heart of Qatar-Finland International School’s curriculum is the Finnish National Core Curriculum. This is combined with the curriculum standards of the State of Qatar. The school curriculum is approved and accredited by both the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar as well as the Finnish National Agency for Education in Finland.

The Finnish national curriculum, which is a foundation for one of the leading educational systems in the world, is designed to provide a balance of high academic skills combined with strong hand- and self-expression skills through music, arts, crafts and physical education. The curriculum is implemented through age-appropriate activities and methodology.

Teaching and learning in Q.F.I. School is based on separate curriculums for Pre-Primary (Grade 0), Basic Education (Grades 1-9), and High School (Grades 10-12) with specific characteristics.
